Arrival and Departure

Registration will take place between 16.00 and 17.30 July 10th followed by supper. Participants should arrive by 5.30pm. Departure will be after supper on Sunday 17th July.

Fees

Fees include full board, consisting of breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

Non-residential status is possible but the Artistic Director and Tutors do feel that from the point of view of rehearsing, practising, attending the concerts,and of course the social element of the festival it is by far preferable to be a resident. If this is not an option open to you, please enquire at the email address below.

A charge of £18 will be added to all payments made by credit card, debit card or charge card.

Facilities

The Ralph Vaughan Williams Music Centre has two excellent performance rooms and 10 practise rooms. Lunch time concerts take place in the larger recital hall in this centre and evening concerts in the main Hall, which seats an audience of up to 400.There are another 15 practice rooms with piano and a further Concert Hall in the Old Music School. The Memorial Chapel houses a Harrison & Harrison organ (c1930, 3 manuals and pedals, 34 stops) and can seat 700 people.

Other recreational facilities

The grounds of Charterhouse are exceptionally beautiful. There are also first class sports facilities, including a swimming pool.
